Excellent Christmas break with the family. Really grateful to the Ansty team. Excellent service from the staff. Each person (front of house, wait staff and housekeeping) was friendly and caring to ensure we had a good experience. Food from the restaurant was excellent - the casual dining and the creative and well presented Christmas dinner. A particular thankyou to Wendy, the chef and wait staff who ensured those of poor mobility and the allergen afflicted amongst us were well catered for and safe - it makes a huge difference. Thoroughly recommend Ansty Hall for a break.
Wow - what an incredible venue. Not only are the décor, cleanliness, and food exceptional, but the service is truly impeccable. A special thank you to James, who is absolutely outstanding at what he does. He is the reason we return year after year for our events, and why we will continue to do so. His professionalism, problem solving, and calm approach make a huge difference - nothing is ever too much trouble, and if an issue arises, James will always find a solution ( a bride or event planners dream). All of the staff are fantastic - supportive, professional, and thorough throughout the entire event. Our whole company commented on the exceptional level of service and were extremely grateful for the care and attention shown by the team. We had our corporate Christmas event at Ansty Hall, and I couldn’t speak highly enough of our experience. We had James in the daytime who was absolutely fantastic and so attentive. He was extremely likeable and also very helpful and flexible when it came to changing the time of our lunch, and providing general assistance with setting up the day. The evening part was equally well managed by Desmond, delaying courses whilst we finished our quiz rounds without us even having to ask. Overall it was brilliant!
Great location for a function or for personal stay. Rooms were large, clean and well equipped. Food was very filling and flavoursome, despite being fairly small portion sizes. Could not fault the staff at all, very friendly, welcoming and hard working. Stayed up late into the early hours serving a company function.
We ate there at Christmas and it was superb. We have eaten there again today as a family of 12 in the Library room for my 60th. We were looked after by Lilly with occasional help from her colleagues and it was just great. The food and service is exceptional. The staff are superberbly turned out and could not be nicer. This hotel has been here for years but since it's new ownership it's on a different level regards food and service. Its exceptional........thanks to everyone there for a lovely afternoon and hope to be back soon
We had our wedding ceremony at Ansty Hall in October 2025 and it was just perfect. The hotel is a lovely place to stay and the staff really looked after us all weekend. For the wedding itself, James was coordinating and took care of everything, somehow managing to make the day feel less hectic. And thanks to Steve as well for helping out with our big group breakfast and making sure everyone was well fed. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside in the grounds and it was so beautiful. As well as being helpful in the run-up to the wedding, James and the team set things up really nicely on the day. I have lovely memories of our weekend at Ansty Hall - we'll definitely be back! Our family had a wonderful stay at Ansty Hall. The staff from reception to the restaurant were incredibly warm, welcoming and attentive. Dinner at Twine was exceptional, with every detail thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. It was clear that great care went into creating a special dining experience. The children were absolutely delighted by the little treat waiting for them on their beds. It was such a thoughtful touch that made them feel extra special. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. It was fresh, delicious and offered a wonderful variety to suit everyone in the family. The staff were incredibly kind, always ready with a warm smile and engaging in lovely conversations (Debbie) that made our mornings even more pleasant. Overall, it was a truly wonderful and memorable experience for our whole family.
Fantastic place for our Christmas dinner. Had all our food preferences and allergies accounted for well. However we arrived a little early, we were offerred a free drink and a sit down in the lounges. They then forgot about us so we had our dinner later than planned. We ate dinner and it was all lovely nothing to criticise at all. We then went back to the lounge for a hot drink. They forgot one of the drinks and didn't offer us any sweet treats like they did with the rest of the Christmas diners. They practically made us pay for our drinks before we had even finished dinner, took our hearty tip then forgot the hot drinks. Overall lovely time and food but the staff at the end just seemed a bit rude, taking the tip then forgetting about us !
